Missions

South Gate members volunteered at the Food Bank of Lincoln.

South Gate participates in many mission projects during the year. We support the Food Bank of Lincoln, Child Advocacy Center, Habitat for Humanity, Matt Talbot Kitchen, ConnectioN Point’s Open Door Pantry, United Methodist Committee on Relief, Great Plains Flood Fund and more. Check our Facebook page for current mission news.

We are collecting donations of shampoo and bar soap for ConnectioN Point’s pantry. The Child Advocacy Center has requested school supply donations including: plain backpacks (no characters), pencils, washable markers, glue sticks, spiral notebooks and stretchy book covers.

Donations may be brought to church on Sunday mornings or during the week during church office hours (8:00 a.m. – noon, Monday – Thursday). Financial contributions to our mission partners may be made by check or by clicking on the donate tab at the top of the page.

South Gate collected canned peaches and pears for ConnectioN Point in April 2021.
